Small & Large Garden Mowing & Maintenance

We offer a small garden mowing and maintenance service for gardens as small as 100m² all the way up to 1000m² using a Honda HRX 537 walk-behind mower. Grass cuttings can either be collected or mulched and returned to the lawn as feed. We also use a strimmer to help tidy up around obstacles and lawn edges.

For gardens and estates much larger than 1000m² our Iseki TH5420 Compact Tractor with turf tyres combined with the Wessex CMT-180 Finishing Mower is the perfect tool for up to 5-acres, providing access is not too challenging. Gardens larger than 5-acres are also possible but they are typically more cost effective to cut with larger equipment than we use.

Small Garden Mowing Cost (up to 1000m2)

No two gardens are the same so we like to quote for each job individually. This way you know exactly how much you will be paying regardless of how long it ends up taking us.

Prices start at £40 for a small to medium sized garden. We can collect clippings providing you have a compost heap or bin to put them in, or we can mulch them back into the lawn.

For small gardens we don’t charge extra for travel within 10 miles of DY14 0QU (Clee Hill). Additional miles outside of this area are charged at £1 per mile.

Large Garden Mowing Cost (up to 5 acres)

For mowing larger gardens with our compact tractor and finishing mower we charge £55 per hour. For mowing with our Flail Mower we charge £60 per hour. Grass less than 1ft in height we can cut at around 1 acre per hour. 2-3ft in height we can cut at around 1 acre in 2 hours.

For large gardens we don’t charge extra for travel within 5 miles of DY14 0QU (Clee Hill). Additional miles outside of this area are charged at £2 per mile.

For larger gardens that require the use of our Iseki compact tractor the minimum charge is £150 even if the job only takes us 30 minutes. This is because of the time and cost required to load, secure and travel with a compact tractor and equipment.
